Holiday photographs
This is the most annoying phenomenon in the social media age. Here we are with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat; all great tools for sharing pictures among your friends, family and wider circles. That is fine – a welcome way for your circles to see how you’re doing and to share fun, interesting things with them. Photographs of you on your holidays though? That has quickly become a bone of contention among social media users the world over.
The reason is two fold; one it is simply bragging to show off the sandy beaches and blue skies that you have been enjoying while your friends have been slaving away over a desk for a month (and who still can’t afford to get away for a holiday.) The second reason is the envy that these people will feel towards you; people won’t share them, people won’t like them and people will only resent you.
